Transport, Traffic and Parking
There is a very active sub-group concerned with public and private transport (including provision for cyclists), traffic, (including speeding), car clubs and parking and also with trying to reduce the level of noise and vibrations from trains on the North London Line.
At present there is a lot of concern about excessive vehicle speeds along Chevening Road. The police have carried out some speed checks (during which they didn’t record any particularly high speeds), but residents feel that the traffic should be slowed down.
