North London Line
Residents of Chevening Road, Winchester Ave, Dunmore Road and also Radnor Road and parts of Carlisle Road and Kingswood Avenue have suffered excessive noise and vibrations from freight trains using the North London Line. This has been particularly bad in the evenings. A vigorous campaign by Qpara has resulted in Network Rail agreeing to monitoring by residents at 12 points along the line as it passes through our area.
