Queen’s Park
Queen’s Park is in the heart of our area. QPARA was originally formed over 20 years ago in response to a plan to build some houses in the north of the park, and we have kept a close eye on it ever since.

Every year we organise the popular Queen’s Park Day. This year it will be on Sunday 11th September 2011. Information for applicants for stalls available here soon.
QPARA is represented on the City of London Open Spaces Consultative Group in relation to Queen’s Park which meets twice a year. This group has made it a priority to redesign the older children’s play area and attempts are now being made to find funding.
We also have regular meetings with Richard Gentry, the manager. Richard usually comes to our monthly meetings too.
